Social Media
For the social media aspect of the campaign, I decided to do a twitter contest. I thought that a contest would be a great idea because it doesn't cost any money to run, and it get the customers directly involved with the company. I decided to use twitter because twitter is very popular and it is easy to use. The contest is to post a one minute video or less explaining what inspires you with the hashtag #getinspired. The winners of the contest will get a $100 gift card to the store and be featured on the Naperville Running Company YouTube channel. I wanted to incorporate the winners on the the YouTube channel because they would be sharing their own story and other people would be able to relate to them. Also it could inspire others to start running and to come to the store. The layout is again based off of some of the previous posts on Instagram because I wanted to keep the ads consistent. Although you said that Instagram was your preferred platform, I decided to use twitter and you tube because the Naperville Running Co. twitter has more followers than the Instagram, and because the YouTube account is fairly new and we want to get a large audience to watch and tune into weekly videos.
